The Nintendo DSi

Today, Nintendo announced a new model for the nintendo dualscreen series, the Nintendo DSi. The DSi is so named because it has two 0.3-megapixel cameras. One on the outside face and the other on the inside on the spine, facing the player. The new DS will use the Mii system, virtual console, wii points, and will exhibit more connectivity with the Wii console. Also, the new DS will have SD card expansion slots, a built in browser, and two touch screens. The DS’s hardware has also seen an increase in screen size and a 17% decrease in its width. It’s coming out in Japan in November and Q1 of 2009 in America. Here’s the article from Kotaku.
